Did you have your rev limiter raised ? The AT5 shifts slow , Most get the basic flash to raise rev , and speed limits . Mine shifts right at 6800rpm and if I didnt have it raised it would have hit the rev limiter before it shifts .

It seems the tranny mods do not help this even thought they say it will, a guy down here in our club with an ATI SC has done the mods and gone back and forth with Level 10 with no success other than excuse after excuse, I drove it an it was really annoying hitting the limiter, I will have to tell him abut the flash fix that would be simple.

I read a thread a couple months back that talked about a vacuum effect & how it effects the computer that controls the a/t shifting.
hope you can find it & it helps

The only way at this point to solve this issue is to raise the rev limiter with an ECU reflash. A TC or VB will not make a difference. The VB makes the mechanical shifts faster and firmer, but it doesn't control the shift response from the electrical system as it relates to the rpms. Until someone can modify the TCM to adjust shift points, the ECU rev limiter reflash is the only solution in Auto mode.

Cesar,
You know what it is? It is your frictions starting to melt. We've had the same problem with our #1 tranny. Very soon you're going to see SES light with Tranny overheating code.
I'm sorry to break it to you like that, but we went through the same crap twice. Our frictions are not designed for TT torque levels. From my research your options are:
1. 6MT swap
2. T400 4-speed drag tranny (8k+install+standalone)
3. New(used) 5AT with VB+TC+big azz cooler and raised limit flash. You'll definately have to lower the boost if you want this one to last.
4. Wait 4-6 months untill several manufacturers come up with a set of kevlar frictions and meanwhile drive other car.
PM me you phone, I can call you tomorrow and discuss some specifics.
As mentioned above, all you need is the Technosquare ecu " limited flash ". In auto-mode, will shift before hitting rev limiter at wot. See Tinmans "0-120" video, link below. Tinman/Steve has a 5AT with SFR TT with that ecu mod.

agree with KenStyle 350Gt.... all you need is the L1 reflash by Technosquare. i think altered atmospshere does it too (not sure though). i also got the stillen vb done to my G and its so much better than factory. cannt see much dif. on D mode but on MM it so much crispier! It jolts a liltle with you shift it on auto. no lag!
