Extrude Hone the...
...engine block coolant passages?
I have read here and elsewhere that high operating temperatures with F/I applications may result from poor coolant circulation through the VQ35DE block. Would our blocks benefit from an extrude hone process? Would this improve coolant flow? Would it make enough difference to be worth the effort? Anybody tried this?

This was a good practice in the 300zxTT blocks because they had a lot of casting flash in the passages. If you look at the vq35 aluminum block the passages are all very smooth. Extrude honing would have minimal effect if any at all. I think the issue is water pump volume. If an upgraded stock pump or in-line pump is possible I see a lot more benefit from that as an alternate route.
