I will need to buy a boost control soon. What type are you guys using and your experience with it? Pricing is a slight issue but quality is a must.

thanks

I like the simplicity of manual boost controllers. I would reccomend TurboXS manual boost controllers from my experience:

I hated the TurboXS controller, too much boost creep.

I really loved the Apexi AVC-R, it's very complex but it has gear based boost control, perfect for launches.

I think the creep may be dependent upon the application it is used on. I do, however, like the idea of gear based boost control.

I use the Greddy Profec e-01 boost controller. I love it because its so easy to read and easy to manage. It can also be used to view 3 different things.

I ordered an AVC-R in march..and by the beginning of this month it still hadn't come so I called up the shop I ordered it from and they told me it was backordered indefinitely due to a recall. I purchased a Greddy Profec-S...cheaper, simple...low and high boost...can't go wrong.

The best one out there, the most precise by far.

Very good as well, BUT the HKS will be more precise because of the stepper motor design vs. solenoid type. But the Blitz SBC iD is one of the best solenoid-type EBC.

We could never get the gear based boost control to work. I run the AVC-R also, and while its a great boost controller, I really wish I could use this feature. Could you post how you got it to work, or PM me? Thanks!

I use the Hallman Evolution Rx Manual Boost Controller. Works flawlessly and comes with a cockpit control.

That is becasue the Z does not have an speed control output on the ECU.The 4 speed sensors of the car are routed to the BCM and in return routed via a CAN bus line to the ECU. We were goint to try and getting a signal off of one of the speed sensors on the front wheel.
