Wicked. Lemme know how well the target afr stuff works with a non-linear signal.

One note in regards to target A/F tuning. The A/F signal harness is not available in the USA yet....its coming in a few more weeks. So for the timebeing, we wont have access to that function, unless someone in Japan wants to secretly send some to me.

jesus h. freekin mary and joseph. i just finished reading all nine pages of this thread, and i'm overwhelmed by all the terms, devices, harnesses and prices discussed.
a few stoopid fi noob questions:
1. if the eu doesn't deliver as promised, what will happen?
2. can you change boost with the eu?
3. if it doesn't, how would the eu benefit my basic hks sc, if at all?
thanx
matt (off to take some excedrin)

Matt, I am glad you hung in there!

1) After I complete the testing, I will outline the features that work, and those that don't . Some of the features may require an additional harness, etc..etc. That will all come out in the testing. Then people can decide if they want to buy-in, or cancel their order. I think we'll all be pleasantly surprise, that the EU will deliver a marked increase in functionality over the standard blue eManage. Once the product is shipped, there can be no returns/exchanges, unfortunately, due to the nature of the GB, and the pricing offered.

2) The EU has no provisions to change boost. Boost would need to be dialed in, preferably, with an e-01 boost controller, or some other device.

3) The EU, when used in conjunction with your HKS SC, may or may not benifit you. If you are happy with your current state of tune, then I would just leave it alone at this point.

Matt - You're not the only one who has taken excedrin on this one.

Sharif - I've been tracking this post for days & wonder if this will be compatible or if at all needed for the Turbonetics ST. Please clarify.

Thanks,
Jeff

Absolutely, it will be perfect for the turbonetics kit, or any F/I or N/A application.

I just recieved the test unit, and after carefully reviewing the installation manual, harnesses, and features, I am 98% certain that virtually all of the features will work on the VQ...including speed cut eliminator. Autosport harnesses will be here today or tomorrow, and everything should be wired up and ready for dyno testing this weekend or first thing next week.

Also confirmed that the A/F target harness (avail in a few more weeks) and the pressure harness can work together. The EU comes with a new support tool, and tuning is done via laptop with just a standard USB-B cable. So no more extra costs for the Greddy Support TooL!

Stay locked to this thread for more updates, and keep the questions coming. thanks!!

That's a SS Submariner! Bling, Bling. I guess there is a bigger margin on the EU that we thought.

Sharif,

It would be easy to fab a temp WB02 input harness, it's only 3-wires, so you could use trial and error.
