CHes.. yes i already have an aftermarket rad. But, if you plum the water cooling lines correctly, there is almost no water going to the turbos while the car is running (very little); it has to go from the side of teh block on the d-side just above the AC compressor, to the turbos, and from the turbos to the heater supply hose.. essentailly from the coolest part of the cooling system to the hottest. WHen the car is off, heat syphoning will draw the water from the cold to the hot side... that's from my own research anyway. If there is another way, pelase let me knwo.

thanks for ya supplies @ all

im sorry but im in a hury at the moment, but im gonna mix this thread up to the weekend...
so gurgen you realy advice me to go with the aps kit, course everything i need will be included in this kit and if there should any problems be i´ll have a better support.
a friend told me im gonna do better with some water cooled turbos, so this would be one more goal for the aps kit.
also i heard that the european z has a bigger radiator (stock) than the us version, so there shouldnt be a problem with water cooling, i hope

thanks, gree P

Hey Guys...

OK...i'll try to take some pictures of the lines I made (haven't installed yet). I used APS' diagrams as a template (with permission of APS). Haven't actually tried putting it on yet, but i don't see why they won't fit.

Here is the info that I dug up that summarizes all that oyu need.

Here are the part numbers of the fittings/hoses for the watercooling stuff. Everything is modeled after the APS setup: http://www.************************/...A_01-Water.pdf. (a i r p o w e r s y s t e m s dot c o m dot au) The onyl assumption that I made is that the IHI's, like Garret's have the 14mmx1.5 thread in the exhaust housing for the water cooling lines.

1. The turbo-side adapters: ATPTurbo.com
You will need 2 of these (for the p-side turbo): http://www.atpturbo.com/Merchant2/me...egory_Code=FTG

...and 2 of these (banjos, for the d-side): http://www.atpturbo.com/Merchant2/me...egory_Code=FTG

McMaster has the latte ras well, I bet, this one comes with the washers, though, so it may be less trouble.

2. The hoses/hose ends from SummitRacing.com

Here are the parts:

hose: AER-FCC0610 x1
the hose ends: AER-FBM1122 x3, AER-FBM-1112 x2, AER-FBM1103 x1

here are the various adapters, also from Summit: SUM-220647

THe only thing that's iffy is how we connect the "end" of the watercooling lines to the heater hose. My search for a T that's got tow 3/4" barbs and a -6 male fitting are still unsuccessful. So i so far have a three-way (huge) -12 all-male tee, and we'll have to get a -12 to -6 reducer.

Oh yeah, the part that was hardest to find was the elusive 3/8" bspt to -6 adaper that goes on the side of the block. That was from mcmaster.com, part #5097k35.

Hope this helps

- Gurgen

I have the PE kit and I love it. I made 416rwhp and 439ftlb of torque at 7-8 psi. The only regret that I do have, is what somebody else has mentioned and thats the fuel system. I don't think it comes with a 255 fuel pump, more like a 195 I think. And also it does not come with a reflashed ecu or a GE like the Greddy kit does. But I think that is offset that by haveing ball bearing turbos, with excellent response, spool, and top end.

you mean the heater hose? I asked Peter, and it turns out that they don't have any loose parts... so I had it made... let me know, i can provide you wth the part numbers from McMaster that you will need.... it will require welding them together...
