McDuck also had cams, so I'd probably suggest going one step smaller...not two.

Are you certain there is no belt slippage or leaks? 5psi seems a tad low....so I am wonder if 1psi of pressure is leaking out somewhere. Change out that BOV for starters, and lets see where you are at that point.

I have had the system pressure tested at Z1 both before and abter the blower and they did find some leaks and fixed what they could but they say there is still some VERY MINOR leaks that they dont feel is really a problem. Will a GReddy Type RS BOV work on the Vortech. Some say yes and some say no. I know the Type S will but Im uncertain if the Type RS will work. Please let me know as I am leaving here in about an hour.

Zach.. .I had headers ,test pipes , Stillen dual and only made 6psi , I added the 3.12 pulley and made 7psi . I got tired of the loud exhaust so I put on Crawford cats . Boost went to over 9psi , but I didnt make any more hp after a retune

For sure....you will be making more boost and will be in a different part of your maps that havent been tuned yet . Dont boost it above the 5psi till you do

Just talked with Eric. I am bringing the car up on July 21 to get these issues resolved. I don't know if it is just loading the maps or if there is more of an issue, however I have scheduled plenty of time to get working. I may even go with the 3.12 pulley and have you install my stillen sways.

The R4 maps are screwy. And in all honesty, half the time I tell it to do something it doesn't.

are you working on Jeremy's car now ? Interested to see whats the problem with it . There has to be some thing going on . R4 is not hard and responds well to changes.

Naw, i'm not tuning it, i'm a ways away from him, I think someone mentioned a few closer guys. R4 isn't hard because it's one simple MAP, which makes it hard and tideous. You have such utter small control it's sad. I wouldn't tune a 600 HP car with it. And IMO I don't think it responds well at all. I've had a dozen or more instances where it won't respond to a command on a couple of cars. It may be me, but I don't think so.

I wish the fuel map was in 100rpm increments instead of 500rpm ...other than that...works well for me with no problems at all

eManage lets you tighten up the resolution in key areas. So you can do 100rpm incrementals or 300rpms increments for the typical trouble spots. The scaling can be changed within reason, which makes it easier to tune the car.
