I am doing some testing on our car, and recently update to the eManage Blue version 1.39
Is anyone running the ignition harness on this version...or close to this version....without diodes? If so, how long have you been doing this?
Also are you guys using the new dip switch settings of 7-0-B or the old settings of 7-0-1
As I begin the testing of the EU next week, I am hopefull that it will be safe to run timing control, without the use of diodes.

Did you change the dip switch settings?
I am waiting for a set of backup coils....just in case I fry them.
Sharif, When John from J&S was doing some testing on my car, he was still showing some static voltage coming from the emanage. I do have the firmware update. He said this static voltage, .5 volts I think, was the reason the coils fry.
Did you ever get the J&S working with the emanage ignition?

John is coming out again. I mentioned to him about the emanage ultimate. We are curious if it has the same ignition circuitry as the blue. That might change the direction of our testing. I am going to the ultimate emanage, so we will know soon.

Just wondering.
