Default Your timming map on low compression?

I was just wondering what your timming maps look like for all you guys on 8.5:1 or 8.6:1 pistons, assuming ~10-12psi of boost. Did you add some timming and to what parts of the map? How much timming did u pull or add near redline at WOT? Thanx all!

I didnt do any datalogging before the rebuild , but now . My timing at WOT [ logged on a OBDII ] shows 23 to 24 degree's of advance . From what Ive read and heard , we need to be around 14 to 16 degree's of advance at WOT . Right now Im pulling 7 degree's after 5000rpm [ 8psi ] and 8 after 6500rpm [13psi ] . I need to get back on the dyno to play around with it while logging it on the OBD . See what makes power and what doesnt . With a turbo set up though . I would amagine you would pull the timing out at peak trq and add some back in as rpm increase . But I know nothing about this . I would like to hear what should be done with both a TT set up and a SC set up . Oh ..just reread your post...you wanted guys with less compression . Mine is 9 to1

Thank booger, thats the kind of info i was looking for. Anyone with lower compression pistons please post your thoughts and expierence.

Im pulling up to 6 degrees after peak torque for around 11 psi and im making a bit less power then i had expected. If I only pull 4 degrees, i gain maybe 4-5 rwhp, not what i had expected at around 11 psi.
