This is from a year or two ago. I thought the conclusion of this was that he blew a tire. He continued to try and downshift to get the car slowed down, which I wouldn't imagine to be possible if the engine went.....Anyway, awesome looking car. It's amazing that he walked away from this.

I had never seen this on this board before however from the sounds of the video it doesn't seem like he blew a tire. Sounds like there were some mechanical noises that should not have been there before he downshifted and tried to continue..

Using the search function located on the Forums menu at the top of the page, and searching for "jun option z" brings up the merged post on this video as the very FIRST link! How could you possibly have not seen it before posting?

He blew a tire, at the end of the movie he kept on saying, tire bursto, tire bursto, it's old news, and was covered in different mags like import tuner and superstreet.

LOL^

Yeah, like others stated, the tire blew and that was the indirect cause for the wreck.

Where exactly do you go drive your car at 150mph - 160mph?

But in the center of the Country - It's Square and Flat, and lot's of open spaces.

East - West roads - North South Roads - Lot's of space for Car fun..

Well, Iowa is a very rural state. The roads are flat and straight with many areas were you can see up ahead for a long distance.

Driver was downshifting to help slow the car down......He admitted that he shouldn't have.....(downshifting would have definatively made the situation worse.)

I think you folks are nuts for driving that fast on public highways in the US. Talk about immature.

While you may be right, we've all heard your sentiment a million times before, and it changes nothing. Please keep the name calling and negativity to yourself.
