Where you at in FL. I should get the car back by next Friday, but it won't get tuned for at least 3 weeks from that date. After I put 1000 miles on the motor I am shipping to SGP in TX for the HKS V Pro install and tune. I figure the car won't be ready to give a good flogging until the end of August.

Congrats on getting the motor back in and the car ready to go. Hopefully things will work out to meet when I pick up my car. Only one thing I forgot to tell you, but you probably know. No cruise control with the FCON. It makes for a long ride home if you're driving!

Funny.. I have the VPro and do not have cruise anymore. SGP installed it. As far as I know phunk lost his CC too. Maybe it will magically work when I pick up my car. That would be nice.

Default Update

Ok so the motor is back in the car. The only thing I am waiting on is for my ECU to come back from TS. They are going to bump up my idle to 950 and add the greddy tt timing maps (no fuel adjustments). Instead of the 24 degrees advance timing the stock ecu has at WOT it will lower it to 20 degrees.

Also I changed my mind on the HKS V Pro. Apparently you will loose VDC and cruise control. I can't see paying $4200 for the unit, installation, and tunning and then loosing those functions. I am going to go with the new Emanage Ultimate. After the break in I am driving the car to NC to CPrace so Sharif and them can tune my car. When the AEM EMS comes out I will switch over to that.

If everything works out I should have the car back by Tuesday. Once I have the car back I will take lots of pics. What do you guys think of them?

Here are the only new pics I have right now. I just had my rims poweder coated in black.

Gman, is that hole next to the fuel pressure gauge for the KP Technologies shift light? If so, what material did you wrap around the hole?

Also, are you going to be attending the FGC's dyno day at Next Level Performance on August 27th? I should be there with my Vortech installed and tuned and Gee Pasta is flying down from Salt Lake to attend, djniknala will be there with his 500rwhp G and I'm trying to get Rich to attend with his ~500rwhp G. Tom from OZOC will be there with his APS TT and another person in the OZOC will be there with the HKS S/C installed and running.

This may turnout to be one of the most diverse FI shoot outs EVER! ha ha...

No, that is the microphone for my clifford alarm. I plan on putting the KP Technologies ship light in the same location in the middle gauge pod.

If I can break the car in and have it tuned by then I plan on being there.

Angry 1 more day

Ok so the wheels are back and on the car. The shop test drove the car and everything seems fine except for the CEL light and and on warm starts the car does not start immediately. I have seen several posts about the latter. I believe I read it is because the car is running rich, which mine is. The shop is going to align the car and I should get it back tomorrow afternoon. Here are some pics of my wheels on the car.
