We are using 2 Spal pusher fans hooked to a set of relays that run the fans at 50% power when the engine is started and until a pressure sensitive switch is activated (under boost) turning the fans on to 100%. If you have an aftermarket bumper with a front opening the intercooler can be turned around and the fans removed. The reason for turning the intercooler around is to hide the fan mounting brackers

Mia......Looks like the mounting plate for the fans , covers all the fins on the intercooler . Is there a reason for this ? Why not use brackets instead of a plate , so the rest of the fins are able to get air to them ?
Is there a chance that water can get sucked up into the filter? It looks pretty damn low.... just like the placement of a CAI. I just ordered my kit a day ago too. I scurred... is there an option for a bypass?

I have my filter from my Vortech SC ran down into the fender well just like this....no problems in the rain...And like MIA said...you have to drive in some deep water to suck up any water
