Default Installing twin 60-1 hi-fis on 350Z

We are beginning the installtion of twin 60-1 hi-fis on the Speed Force Racing 350Z.Hopefully the car will be up and running by the end of the week.We are trying to use our existing equal length tubular headers with these enormous turbos but we might have to build a different style header to accomadate them.We plan on selling this version of our twin-turbo kit once all of our fabwork and testing is done.

Our existing kit puts out big power but we want more! We want the ability to make 1000 horsepower at the wheels and the smaller T3's will not do it.the 60-1 hi-fis will.

We will also be releasing a new twin plenum intake manifold with velocity stacks. It will be similiar to the top secret plenum except our inlet will enter from the back just like the stock plenum. This means it will be a direct bolt-on.We will be testing this intake manifold after we do the testing on our newest version of the SFR turbo kit.

It looks like a single turbo kit will be in the works too.We are also planning on releasing a dual 3" stainless steel exhaust system with HKS Carbon Ti's.This system is going to be test fitted to my car when the turbos are complete.

If you havent been to our website, you might want to check it out because we just upgdated or 350 and G section. There are alot of new parts including built motors and insane cylinder heads.

Wow congrats Tim....twin 60-1 HiFis is asking for trouble Make sure you upgrade those axels man. They can't handle 600 on drag radials I'd hate to see what happen with what you are going to be running...

We are only looking for 500+ WHP on the stock motor for now. When the built motor and heads go in then we will try to max it out.Fortunately, my uncle makes custom axles so I will be calling him in the future.

Each turbo is rated at 550 horsepower at the wheels.

I will post some pics tomorrow or wednesday on our progress. The big 1200 hp intercooler is being mounted right now and we are working out the turbo placement and header design. We like the desing of our original equal length manifolds but it my be best to go with a short tube header. There are two options to fit these big boys and we are deciding on which is best for the system as far as installation for the end user goes.

Very nice!

So, what is the relationship between SSR-Engineering and Speed Force Racing because you both develop exact same products? Just want it to be clarified. Does SFR and SSR develop products "together"?

SFR designs, tests and manufacturers the products.SSR resellls them.SSR has also helped us get "in" new cars to do prototype work on like the RX-8,
Spec-V,etc......... so we/SFR can develop new products which in turn SSR and ofcourse ourselves/SFR, can sell.

Here are some pics of my 350Z's progress:

Nice pics, thanks for the information.

Are you guys using a bar and plate intercooler vs. tube and fin intercooler (I thought you used a tube and fin on the regular version of your kit?)?

Always bar and plate spearco or garrett cores

SSR also got this turbonetics Hi-Fi deal
