fuel return/w greddy tt ??
hey i have a greddy tt , and fmic, fuel pump, pulleys, cat back , pipes, intercooler sprayer, blah blah some other goodies, the whp is 375, but the guys at the shops around here are all saying fuel return kit is the next big plus for getting whp ....but a grand for a fuel kit is alot , worth it, and what numbers am i looking at ?
I was thinking the same thing.
My ECU is on it's way back from TS with a reflash. It will be set at 8psi.I have no fuel retun system yet but will add it next summer for safety. It's not just to add more whp but safe and reliable whp.

a customers car with greddy TT, greddy FMIC, CJM Fuel Return SYstem, E-Manage MAP sensor and timing harness ugprades, made 411rwhp (93octane) at 8-8.5 psi thru stock exhaust and stock cats. I woudl expect about the same power if you got a fuel return system.
If you are only go to 8psi a return fuel system is not needed at all. I have been running 8psi close to a year with just a walbro 255lph pump and TS reflash for the Greddy kit at 8psi without any issues. There are at least 5 Greddy TT kits with the same TS flash/Walbro pump just on the board here that I know of.
My tuning is very safe. I have a steady A/F of mid 10's across the board. I would like to lean it out to mid 11's but have yet to mail it back to TS. If you plan on going beyond 8psi then the return system is a very good idea. But it's over kill for just 8psi.

yes thats another wya to go... reflash... i would recommend either.
with a reflash its a set it and forget... or put the money towards a fuel system and ignition timing tuning... in which case your more tunable, but you have to actually tune it. If you do the fuel system you can skip the reflash... but if you never plan on going further then 8 psi, then yea the reflash is probably the cleaner way to go rather then changing out all the fuel system.

i watched my fuel system drop 5psi when i got on the gas. i was very surprised when i found out the Z fuel system was returnless.
my point being, it sucks to try to tune the car with a returnless fuel system as the fuel pressure will drop when it needs to actually build more pressure. at the psi you plan to run, a return fuel system would be up to you. it does create a more stable platform to tune from, as the pressure will stay on a constant rate, or atleast a more consistant rate based on vacuum/pressure.
it has nothing to do with fuel delivery at your boost level. i'm sure you are fine with the walbro. the reason return fuel systems come into play on this car is the fact that a return fuel system has a more consisent fuel pressure to tune from. fuel delivery is not the prob. let me make it clear, from stock fuel delivery might be a prob at your level, but you said you already were running the walbro 255lph pump. that many liters per hour will support 700hp (@crank).
in other words, a return fuel system would not do much for you at all other than cost money. but like i said, it does give a more stable platform to tune from and more predictable as far as actual fuel delivery as per fuel pressure.
