I need this question answered.

What oil should I use now that I need to change it?

My car has 15k Miles and it is 5AT

Also, my car has never used synthethic oil, It has always used nissan brand

Since you are in Miami and it's nice and warm there, I would use Mobile1 15w-50. It will run smoother and have better protection IMHO. Now is a good time to switch to synthetic.

+1 For Mobil 10w40. I noticed a big increase in smoothness when reving to 6grand. I didn't think oil would make a huge difference but it did. Or for the 1st 1500 miles use the same oil to get familiar with the power and how the engine works. Then change to 10w40 to see if you notice a difference.

Also having bad experiences with auto trannies on other cars. 15k might not be a bad time to change Tranny fluid either. Congratulations.

I dont think it matters. You can always run synthetic, but you can't go back. So if you've always used synthetic you can't switch to regular oil cuz the synthetic coats the engine and doesn't allow regular motor oil to bond or something like that. Im not sure if the oil being used is synthetic or not? I think it is.

There is no such thing, unless you use the extended performance which I dont think you guys are referring to.
There is also a driveclean that you can get in 10w-40 but thats just Mobil not Mobil 1 and a Mobil1 SUV which is 5w-40.

The regular Mobil1 in a 40 weight is a 0w-40.
Probably not a bad match for an SC.
I run 10w-40 Redline but the 0w-40 Mobil1 will do you reasonably well.
