Default Turbo Timers

Who out here is running a turbo timer? If you are, what kind are you running, and what do you have to do to install it?
Thanks
Ron

I'm running the turbo timer on my Compustar alarm system. I didn't do the alarm install so I can't really give details.

I'm running the Apexi turbo timer. The turbo timer is compact so you can mount it anywhere. I just paid my installer $80 to install it so I'm not sure what to do on the installation.

I've been thinking about this as well.

Do you really need one?

IMO i don't think it's a matter of NEEDING one but more of wanting one. it wouldn't hurt to be a little on the safe side.

but then again i'm not boosted

I am just lazy, and sick of sitting in my car for a couple minutes before I get out of it. I get bored easily!

I ran an apexi with o2v and a/f ratio....it was nice...cheap...and I installed it in 20 minutes with the harness (in my 96 talon awd).

Out of all the timers I looked at, for the price, the Apexi seemed to be the best. Smallest and most features....plus it was like $110 or something a few yrs ago. I wouldn't pay for the install (unless the Z install is much more difficult than the talon).
