Default Splash Guard with APS TT

Just in the middle of my APS TT intall. Just a quick question, did you refit the sump protection panel on your cars after the install?? my installer is concerned about heat build up with no airflow under there.

I am concerned about protection for the sump and how dirty it will get under the hood without it.

If people could post if they have retained it or not, i would be most grateful!

The g35 runs with a splash shield under the car already with no heat issues at all. I could not imagine it being an issue on the 350Z.
