I usually believe in positive posting especially for someone who makes a classy and friendly post such as yours..

But a Truck????!
In an urban area?!!!!

Welcome to dangerously obstructing other drivers vision, getting in others way in parking lots, forcing others to slow down as you vehicles high center of gravity excessively lowers your safe off ramp speeds..and contributing to higher gas prices.

..

PS: Ban SUV's and personal Trucks that are not for commercial use.

Dude? What are you talking about, I bought a Viper??? Check the pictures???

And just to let you know, my Daily Driver is a 2004 chevrolet Tahoe. Before that I had a 1996 tahoe with 9 inches of lift, 36x14.5 inch tires (thornbirds), and a whipple twin screw exiting through dual 3.5 inch pipes.

So, I'll drop the class and say blow me, go hug a f@cking tree. I hate hippies. I'll be at Ft. Campbell in 2 months with the 101st, why don't you come by for a visit.

BTW, what kind of gas mileage does your ATI procharger give you? A$$hole.

You started off so good too. Come on man, gas milage, your supercharger, pot, kettle. Yeah my forged motor and now 60lb(620cc) injectors get great gas mileage. That's why I got cams and lower compression. I felt guilty with that high compression not getting a complete burn and polluting the environment. Oh did I mention that I have test pipes. Critism is great as long as you critisize with the right facts.

Did I mention my old truck got 10 miles to the gallon? And that was highway, after a nice day in the mud I probably averaged 5 miles per gallon.

And theKing is correct, you started out so well. If you gave up your Z and bought a honda insight, then I really wouldn't be able to say all that much as you would have a set of beliefs you were sticking to, but you don't.

BTW, almost all of the midsize SUV's with 6 cylinder engines get better gas mileage than you do.

I apologize I misread your post and you got a Viper..
Props for a nice car!

Fred..

PS: I still stand by my anti truck and SUV rant tho and the nuisance they pose to traffic, also i still get 24 mpg

Palmer, you need to get rid of that z QUICK, and buy yourself a nice Civic, before you destroy anymore ozone. That post makes me want to go out and buy the biggest, highest center of gravity, least fuel efficient Excursion I can find, and drive right in front of you on a highway onramp.

PS: Ban hippies from having drivers licenses so they don't burn anymore precious fossil fuels.

Congrats Adam. I myself looked at an '03 Z-06 today, and am going back tomorrow to talk numbers. I told one of the sales managers that I needed to put my car back to stock and he said that he wanted it the way it is, that I should come in with numbers and see what we can do. I'm looking for 28500, 22500 for the car and 6000 for the mods. (the 6000 is what I figure I could sell them for, at super cheap prices for quick sale).

When you figure taxes, take an extra 2500 by using trade in, it isn't all that bad.

Congrat's - Does your Viper have ABS?
Saw John Hotchkis go out in the dirt At Button Willow Calif. at 130 mph - In 2003 cause he thought the car had ABS.. Film clip available.. The sound track said " O h - S H I T ! "

Cheers Amy -

Netko, it's kind of funny, the talk was centered around what you should do. Then I ended up taking my own advice.

Mike, I looked at the z06, but my neighbor has one, and it would look like I was copying him a little too much. They are great cars though, also I wanted to stick with the covertible.

Unfortunately I won't be able to make the evo summer event, I will be in saratoga springs, NY for the horse race, should be a lot of fun.

And the 2004's do have ABS, but no traction control. Still, you really have to respect the car or it will hurt you. Even Steve Millen had trouble launching in the Viper during the R&T 1 mile shootout. It really is all about respect.

I feel for you. Sounds like a rough life. Viper, horse racing, and the like. Do you happen to own a football or baseball team yet, lol. I like looking at the threads on the internet where guys go to the 1/4 mile track for the first time with their vipers and the picture that goes after the launch is them crashed in the wall. Don't be one of those guys. That thing deserves much respect. Even these High HP Z's/G's don't have the torque at the first throttle opening that the Viper does.

No football team, Korporashun. Honestly, I am in my early 30's, married, always worked hard and always lived within my means.

Well then you deserve the Viper. Good luck with it. Let us know if you ever take it to the 1/4 mile track or road race it and report back. I hope to get a car like that in the next 3 years maybe sooner cause I have no kids.

First off, nice car. Although I'm not a dodge fan, I can still appreciate the power and style of the viper.

Still, I just coudln't help but laugh at the above outburst...

I, personally, am growing of all the damn trucks/SUV's driving around in this urban hell known as Tampa, so I can identify with the above poster's feelings. As long as you actually use the truck for something, it's cool... But most of them have 22 inch bling spinners with low profile tires and have never actually been used to tow or haul something besides groceries. They're just some kind of upper middle class status symbol that makes no sense to me. While being giant moving roadblocks and traffic hazzards, they're also money pits and gas guzzlers. Gas prices are about to hit $3/gallon here. I think we can partially attribute that to America's current gangsta-dog-iced-out-SUV-pimp trend. And no, I'm not a hippy.

ALso, my FI 350z gets better gas mileage than it did off the showroom floor.

Palmerwind, you should take him up on the invite to go visit the 101st. I've out of the Marine Corps for over 2 years and could still out PT and out shoot those clowns.

ahem... sorry.. continue

Nice car.

taurran and plamer, anyone who is serving or has served has my respect, no matter what branch. That being said, I'm an officer, we don't work for a living, I don't do PT!

Of course I'm just kidding, had a 6 mile company run this morning. The weather was cool with a nice pre-rain mist. Perfect for a run.

The reason I have a tahoe (not that it is really anyones business) is that my wife and I have 3 large dogs and we like to take them with us.
