Somewhere in this forum it was announced that the stillen SC would not require mods to the hood. The picture from Sitllen days was of a prototype. The final version somehow fits below the existing hood line.

 

oh come on, it does look kinda bad ***... with a proper cut, a clean edge, and some paint to cover the metal. its like something I heard about a ferrari once, looks are never considered when building the car, only performance, but performance is beuitiful.

just rugged power, screw appearances, this car is here to go fast, and it looks sexy just for that.

with that said, Id be afraid of ******** messing with the belt.

 

How come I heard it require no mod on hood for G35c, yet a scoope or bump is required on 350Z?

 

Re-read Victor's post, there will be no modding required for the kit to clear the hood when it is finished.

sorry if I confused the issue, I was only talking in a "what if" aspect. that is a prototype and as VQ said, the real one will fit with no hood modifications of any type.

 

Does anyone have access to pics under the hood; I am dieing to see the Stillen SC setup.
I can not find anything on the Web.

I spoke with Stillen reps week before last....

they do not need to mod the hood (the cut was just for their prototype)

they are coming out with a replacement hood though, with a scoop. this is intended to be a stand alone mod

 

the scoop will give away the SC
