Default Engine Mangement

I am trying to find out what is the best option? I have been told a few different things and am not sure what is the best option for me. I have been told either to use a Split second piggyback, an HKS, or a Blitz unit. I am at a loss. I know that this is important and want it done right. Any feedback would be great.

All or most of the forced induction systems on the market come with a form of engine management. It really depends on what you're going to be doing with your car, and most importantly what are your goals with the car?

I am looking for it to be a car I can take on trips and drive around but also take it to the track. I would like for it to run at the most 15 pounds and be somehwere over 500hp. I want something that will be adequate for anything more that I do. I am not going to get the car over 600hp, at least I do not think. I am just trying to get some feedback on what is out there and what is good and what is not.

Emanage Ultimate, unless you have a local HKS Pro Authorized dealer than can tune the FCON. The FCON is about 4 times more expensive as well. The FCON is a full standalone (functionally speaking), but its not user or even tuner tunable...unless they are HKS Pro Authorized.

If I understand it correctly the HKS creates it's own map and the Ultimate Emanage goes off of the factory map with pluses and minuses. Is that correct? And if it is which is the better mor reliable way to go?

The HKS is a full standalone, and is superior..no arguement there. Just keep the costs, and the availability of HKS Pro Cert tuners in your area. You are in So Cal, so there are plenty of those around.

Yeah, I got a quote for the parts and install and it was going to cost $2500 just for the HKS. I think that the Emanage Ultimate is going to work fine. Based on what I have heard it is still good, just not as good right?
