I know a few people on the boards have them uprgaded.
I want to install them now & set the boost low(12lbs) untill the fuel system upgrade comes out. Otherwise I'll have to drop the turbos in the future which is a big pain in the as$.
I believe everyone is getting them from www.torquefreaks.com.

I asked Peter from APS and I never got a clear cut answer. He told me he would report back with the information within a few days, and that was 2 months ago.

I have no idea where I'm going to get them from, I am hoping that the shop that is going to tune my car will have something in mind...

Yeah Tourqefreaks is local to me... they are pretty happy about being able to get new boost actuators for the Garret turbos...

GAR-16964 10 PSI Actuators 2@86.00=172.00...

I hope they don't get pissed I posted the part # and $... If they do... my name is Bob.

Oh but to keep this on topic. I would have purchased a tuner version of the APS kit. I would have gone with my own fuel system, changed the bost actuators from the get go, and gone with something other then unichip for engine management. (I couldn't wait for the AEM.)

I know Peter is in love with it, but none of the shops I'm comfortable with will touch it. Matrix/Tourque Freaks.

It's a PITA.

That's something that I had not thought of previously, very interesting feedback.

James,

Do you think it is a good idea for people who are happy with 500 hp and lower to have the GT25 turbo (instead of GT28). So we would get even better respond at lower RPM and also get the full boost faster. I belive there are a lot of people for this.

Wow...cheap!

Anyone have a picture of what they look like? Another company makes a set of billet AL CNC machined units that are super-bling, but they are twice the price.

I think Jason said they look pretty much just like the APS actuators.

I thought the APS TT kit used gt35 turbos.

If you did sell a tuner kit I know I personally would be much more inclined to go APS.

The ST uses the GT35... the TT uses 28/35R's.

Very interesting.
I stand corrected I could have sworn Peter said GT25/35R a few months ago. I am getting a little older now.

I would say the GT25/35R is the right turbo size for TT for people who are happy with 400 to 500 hp. Actually, with 450 hp & up, this will alaready be a fast car and we should concern more about traction than more HP.

Awesome and your customers are now very close to getting what they want from a tuner APS twin turbo system.

And another advantage of the complete APS twin turbo system will hopefully be a CARB exempt order before year end for the guys in CA.

I hope this comes to light!
Understood and this APS tuner twin turbo system I hope will suit their needs perfectly and in the future APS will release a comprehensive fuel supply system which wil also be an ideal solution for the guys wanting up to 600 WHP and an even larger fuel sysytem designed to support around 1000 WHP.

The APS tuner twin turbo system will definitely have bigger actutors.

I believe 12 psi actuators will be part of the tuner program and with the right test pipes, big TD exhaust and electronic boost control somewhere around 18 psi boost should be possible from the APS tuner system.

All in good time, APS engineers are testing a good number of actuators for higher boost applications.
