How do you like the LC-1 from Innovative ??
I plan on getting the Emanage ultimate but before that I want to get a good wideband...how is the LC-1 from Innovative ?? Do you guys feel its effeciant enough to use even for datalogging ?? Im gonna be using the Emanage Ultimat most likely so how does this match up with the EU..how does the Innovative product match up to the PLX M-500 ?? I know it has more features, but are they really needed ??
thanks for any type of information you can give me...users wanna comment on it, please do

I like my stand-alone gauge lc-1 alot. I have not done any datalogging with it yet, but I did have it connected to the computer just to check it out and was happy with it.
As far as being a gauge, it is great because it is super-thin and very easy to read. Also the colors of the gauge leds can be change if that makes you happier with it.
I looked at the PLX-500 as well and decided on the LC-1 mainly because of price and Innovate's great respect by so many people. Plus they have online video tutorials on how to use their products properly, which is nice to have.

here is mine, i love the gauge, but to my understanding you can not data log with it, you must have the lm-1 to go with the lc-1 to data log, also an rpm signal adapter must be purchased to capture the rpm from the ecu. im sure sharif will chime in here in a sec. also check out innovate's forum, plenty to read there.

i will give the gauge a 9 out of 10, the color changing ability is awsome, but not being able to datalog like the zeitronix i had was a little bit of a let down, but im still very happy with it. plus their customer service is AMAZING, i had a problem with my gauge (installing it
) and i had email back from then as soon as i sent them. very nice company to deal with.

here you go, you can purchase from sharif at forgedinternals.com for $375.00, cheaper than from innovate.

Matt, most people will simply take the analog output from the Innovate Standalone Gauge pictured, and send it to the eManage Ultimate, or other device that can datalog, such as an e-01 boost controller.
So if i plan on getting the EU, get the LC-1 ??
I was reading on the innovative site that you need to turn the car on with the bung outside of the exhaust, then power it up and let it see ambient temp air for a certain amount of time, then plug it in to the exhaust. When i get my exhaust welded on, im gonna be having the WB bung welded into the exhaust, and its gonna be kinda dificult to have the bung see regular air and all of that...Is it ok to have the bung welded in, wideband pluged up and start the car ??
How do you guys install yours ??

You only need to expose the sensor to air when you do the initial calibration. For all subsequent calibrations, you can do this procedure after the car has been sitting for 12 hours, such as in the morning before you start up the car. So you will never have to remove the sensor from the bung.

To log with the LC-1 you have to download the latest version (2.0) of Logworks from the Innovate website. Install that on your laptop and hook it up using the supplied cables and bam! realtime A/F data logging. The LC-1 will accept other inputs as well, but you have to have that latest version of the software or its a no go. I found that out when I received my LC-1/XD-1 combo a while back when the software (ships with version 1.x) wouldn't start logging. Innovate's forum section is very helpful and that is where I found the solution for Logworks 2.0 and the download.
