hey guys i had a nismo lsd on my z the whp is 375 so i thought it would help at the track and it did great ..but dammnnn can it make any more nose, and sounds just daily driving, it made me not like the kit for normal driving so i took it off..is it just me or have any of you all taken off the lsd or another brand...well let me know how you all handled it and if you want my lsd more then welcome to buy it ..trevor

 

weird, mine doesn't make much noise. Only when the car is cold for the first 5 min.

I use synthetic redline oil with their friction modifier

Same here. I used Royal Purple with a friction modifier and only have noise when its cold. As soon as the gears warm up, I barely notice it. But I only have mine at 60% for daily driving.

 

umm i have the same problem. i have mine at 60% and it makes a ton of noises and is really annoying for daily drivng.

 

You need to change the fluid to Royal Purple or Redline. It will quiet things down ALOT.

 

i know this is a fi forum and im talkin lsd , but yea i dunno mine was to the point when i dont care right now about it i wish maybe i used diff. oil 1st and see it would help but for now its for sell
