Default Hmmm just opened all my APS TT boxes

Let me start by saying HOLY CHIT!! talk about some parts! I got the car stripped down and was about to start reading the instructions. Well guess what there are none! What box was your guys instructions in?

The instrucions are online. I can't give you the website because this forum blocks it (overkill IMO).

It should have came with a cd-rom that directs you to their website.

lol yeah,
Is this normal? I heard the instruction are like 150 pages! So I have to print them out? WTF!

They are on the cd that came in one of the boxes.
or air power systems com au Fill in the w's and the dots.
This the only way to write it with out them blanking it out.

The instuctions online are a bit older then what comes with the kit!!!!


Use the instructions on the CD!!!! Trust me.. I just went thru this! If you don't have them on the CD I can e-mail them to you!

What was you opinion when you first picked up that FMIC?

Chit! Everything in the boxes were a ton! But yes the intercooler was REALLY heavy! I think Im just going to pull the motor. Its just about there anyway and I think with this kit it would make things a LOT easier!

Since your pulling the motor, might as well install aftermarket CAMS.

I might build it later. Ill wait to go boom first. If I can get 450 now Ill be happy.

The APS intercooler is a more efficient bar and plate design. As a result it can be physically smaller than a comperable tube and fin design, but still provide roughly the same level of cooling. Bar and Plate designs are also better protection against heat soak.

That is the reason the APS intercooler weighs a ton....but yes...that chit is heavy!

Well its slow going! Ive had the motor and tranny ready to pull for two days now but Im having a hard time getting a hoist. I hope to get it here tuesday. I did get the fuel pump and oil pan done today. Its nice to see the parts go down.
