Interesting section for 1st post...but F/I is the way to go if you want alot of power and don't mind paying for it. If you are looking for non-substantial gains just check out the engine/drivetrain main section. More of your questions can be answered their.

if its going to be along time til you go with a super or turbo charger , just do the basics then ...headers, catback , maybe some staight pipes, or pulleys , just remember , alot of times bolts ons are a waste if you get FI but if its a couple yrs then go ahead and get those , mite not run 12s but its a z there still fun

Well, if you're just looking for some hp increase, just get a Vortech or Turbonetics kit. They are relatively safe in stock boost. But if you're looking for big power, TT is the way to go.

You're only 16??? And you have a 350Z???? If I had a Z when I was 16...I would have killed myself or someone else. The last thing you need to be doing to your Z is modding it. 300hp is WAY too much power for pretty much any new driver. Enjoy your Z...and drive safely and get more experience behind the wheel before you start modding the car. That's the best advice I can give.

Just for fun.. Look up our old buddy in Charlotte - Sharif

Actually Chris.. There are some suspension parts.. that you might consider.
Depending on what you are looking for.. Your Z would be a lot more fun - Stock with just a set of Sway Bar's ( I prefer Hotchkis Sway's ) This is like the first thing, preparing for more power. The add on is simple and does not need removal of the stock Spring's - Those make a world of difference. Ask Sharif - he is a believer.
From that point - more power is what the pocket book can allow. A stock N/A Z just rolls a little to much in the turn's - Sway's will make the car track on and off freeway ramps.. It's applied power and Control - not brute power.
Cheers Amy -
