just try a search for water injection on the net. lots of manufacturers for them with alot of different pump sizes and triggering methods.
they aren't too expensive, so still not sure to buy a kit or make my own. they are pretty simple, but if you mess up it can cost you your motor. if you don't do it correctly and water leaks into the manifold while not running, you can hydralic the motor and bend a rod or worse, lol.

 

To inject before the TB or after? If before, how far away from the throttle plate?

 

i would definately go before the tb on the Z. the cooling affects not only happen in the cylinder but right as soon as the w/m is injected and moving with the air to cool it. i plan on injecting it about 12" up from the maf.

Nah there is no real risk even untuned, just a loss of horsepower. its making 406whp @ 9psi but making 415whp without. My EGT's stay significantly lower with the water injection and the car runs much smoother. I wasnt sure how far I want to take it though with tuning. I'm interested to see how things turn out for you, maybe I'll push it to 11psi.

It is used by alot of Mustang guys and it is very easy to use. It's also very nicely priced considering it has a boost activated progressive controller.

 

coolingmist.com sells them as well as aquamist. Here is aquamists website,www.aquamist.co.uk, they also have a forum. I had the coolingmist system on my STI.

That looks like a very good system, simular to the system I had but that one has a controler for the amount of water. And Its cheaper that the aquamist system.

I would get it tuned and run at least 11lbs if not more your hp would be at 450whp if not more....spend a lil money on tuning the hp gains will be worth it...Im at 13lbs and can go higher if I want to... but for a daily driver stock block I'm happy where I'm at....I don't want to push it to much...
