Curious if anyone is doing some track/lapping with FI? (more than occasionally...)
How much are the two compatible? I'm considering forced induction, but I am affraid there will be major drivetrain reliability issues for a car with FI beaten hard on the track repeatedly...
I was leaning toward an SC on stock internals
around 350-380rwhp... Any considerations? any required/reccomended upgrades? Fuel system? Clutch? Internals? whatnot? Or should I stay NA and enjoy the peace of mind of bulletproof engine(relatively)?
been out a bit, lost track of FI reliability issue

Hi Nano,
One of our customers takes his APS TT to the track regularly. I'm sure he would be more than willing to answer these questions for you. His name on here is Alpine. From what I understand his car ran excellent at the road courses. I hope this is at least somewhat helpful. Have a great weekend.

i sure hope they do... i'm installing my APS ST now, with the intent that it become a long term track toy. i surmise that i'll eventually have to build the motor, but i'm not aware of any NA->FI cars that this doesn't hold true for. even most OEM FI cars, when they have significant power adders (bigger turbo for example) will eventually either pop, or the owners build a motor along the way.
i do a lot of track time, so i'm as concerned as you are. i think adding an oil cooler is a definately in my future, and i may end up with a larger radiator (although i'm holding out for now).
