Exclamation Turbo or Boost Gauge?

Well Here is what I plan to do, Im going to get a greddy TT kit for the Z, and I was woundering If im going to need a gauge for boost or turbo whichever its called, well i dont want to remove the stock ones i like the center console so i plan on keeping them. SO here is my question is there another way i can have something to control the boost ( and i also dont want a aftermarket gauge hanging nowhere lol) Nor i want to remove the NAV so is there something simple like this

or do i need one at all?

All I can say is wow. You plan on running a turbo but
a. don't even know what the gauge is called
b. don't know if you need it.
I think you should stick to NA.

Moved to F/I section. Please post in the appropriate section. Thanks.

As far as your question, assuming the picture above is not your car, there are boost controllers out there that look very much like the EDFC control unit you've circled in your picture. There is no requirement to have an aftermarket gauge if you have a boost controller with boost readout. The problem is that it will be WAY out of you field of vision so you'll have to take your eyes off the road to see what you're boosting to. That's not a very good idea. You sound turned off to the idea, but I really recommend a pillar mount with at least 2 pods, one for boost and the other for Wideband or EGT. With any F/I solution, it's important to have these extra indicators of your cars performance readily available.

Hope this helps.
