Default Any stock z having problems with APS kit

hi i know ive been asking alot of question lately. But i was wondering since the aps TT has such good reputation has anyone installed the kit straight out of the box and has had issues. Already Did research only thing i found was on built or modded motors.

Ive had problems with keeping tires on, its wearing them out too soon. Try searching better, you can change your view too. At the bottom of the page there are dialogue boxes that you can change the values to whatever criteria you want. All these answers are out there and are recent. IF you still have a question I recommend referencing something so people dont think you haven't looked around first.

Good luck

most of the problems with out of the box operation that I have seen posted is the smoking issues and decel. APS says it is related to the oil lines. If you have it installed by an authorized APS dealer you won't have this problem.

Ive been told it isnt the lines. A local shop says they have a fix and has nothing to do with them. My question is why the fug doesnt APS come out with this info? I think its cause they want their dealers to get the cash for the install. Its a selling point for the installers.

BS, there's a few people who've taken their cars to dealers and they haven't been fixed, including me.

I've been very happy with my APS TT for the last 3K miles. No smoking or any other problem so far.

Nothing like sharing for the good of the community. It's not like every person in the US can have their cars worked on by those shops.

**rolleyes are not for, but for those two shops*** I am sure they have learned a thing or two on this board.

The replace the oil restrictors with smaller ones. Nothing that hasn't been talked about numerous times before. No secret.

It's not like APS is sitting on this info and doing nothing. They have come out and said, it is a bad idea. These shops you speak of aren't doing this with APS knowing about it. If APS did know about it, I would thnk there would be some issues.

I have seen restrictors on other cars that run a GT25 turbo. The restrictors on the APS kit are not abnormally large. From my experience, the issue is not 100% caused by the returns.
