Default question on turbonetics install

my buddy just called me and wanted to know what to do, he said that halfway in the install he was to told to remove the driver side 02 sensor and replace with a plug that came in the kit. he did that. now he doesnt know what to do with the removed sensor. he said that its # 49 i think in the install book. Anyone have an idea?
