Default location of starter motor

hi guys

can anyone let me in on where the starter motor is?

is it on the LH (Driver) side of the block or the RH (Passenger) side of the block?

Reason for asking is that my starter motor is on the LH side and it gets in the way of the turbonetics turbo piping that came with the install.

Thanks.

It is on the Passenger(RH) side. Just get the APS kit then.

US versions are passenger side, but I think some international version are left hand side. The block has provisions for installing the starter on both sides of the block/flywheel.

i am trying to buy the starter motor from car parts and was checking with this company. "Miami Parts USA-FL(Opa-Locka) E-mail 1-800-644-4788" and they are telling me that the starter motor sits on the driver's side?

is there a difference between the starters for different years?
