Default a NEW FI guy needing HELP!!!

Ok guys I think I am on the fence about going FI. So excited. Ok here is my dilemma. I am not sure a Turbo kit is for me without having alot of car knowledge or a trusted shop I am good friends with ect. If I understand this correctly Superchargers are just plain easier and less issues than Turbo kits.

So I want a car that is...

A GREAT daily driver
Good on the Automatic
Reliable
the least maintanence
A warranty is a plus
I don't need 400+hp to the wheels, 350 ish is good with me.

Is it Stillen, Procharger, or Vortech??? Help is greatly appreciated

Stillen Stage two supercharger... most reliable you can get... plus three year warranty! Easy to install to!

Go Turbonator or go home, there may be a warranty also.

I recommend Stillen stage 1 or stage 2. Let me know when you are ready to order.

Brandon, can you say why you are going this route? Also do I need to do anything else to the engine or does the kit include everything to get going. What about ECU, all that jazz...

What type of power can I expect from this kit? I have exhaust, and high flow cats already.

How much for install, and what is the kit cost?

Why do I recommend this route? I think this kit matches what you want the best.

The Stillen has a good warranty on it, CARB legal, ~12 hour install, works fine on the 5AT, never heard of a blown motor with Stillen, power delivery is good for a daily driver, and power output will be around what you want. It is also already tuned.

Around 320 RWHP for the stage 1, and 340 RWHP for the stage 2.

I'll have to check on the install price and price of the kit. The price of the kit should be around $3,900 for the stage 1 and about $5,400 for the stage 2 (unpolished version).

I am in Miami / Fort Laud...bestie

Well been doing alot of thinking. Maybe a turbo isn't so bad. Alot of the guys in the Z Club here in So Fla have never seen a blown motor or huge issues with a turbo run at low psi like 8 and keeping the engine stock. And most said they prefer it over a Supercharger for many reasons not just HP.

What about the Turbonetics kit? I had a talk with someone from the company today and they were pretty convincing on the reliability of the daily driving aspect and how the kit is very low maintanence. Again I am new to the FI aspect. I just want to have some fun in my roadster but not have to keep watching gauges, filters, belts, and ECU's while always having to tune the engine b/c that is not my forte and I don't have the money and knowledge to keep up on it.

From your last post I would say FI is not for you. Just go with NA mods it will be safer but not any cheaper. NA would be good for around 270 - 285 rwhp. Maybe with a piggyback a little HP.
