Default What exhaust will work with the turbonetics kit?

I just got a call back from the performance shop and the guy quotes me 700 plus to install my borla. Ill be damned if I gotta pay that much. Which exhaust will work without modifications? Which produces more power? Does stillen offer any? I would luv to keep the borla but if its going to costs that much to install then Im better of selling it and buying another.

Borla TDs? They need to fab a reverse Y-pipe thus the price.

Any exhaust with a single mid-pipe(not single tip) would work with the kit.

Best to get a single 3" exhaust to free up the flow. I have the Amuse which has a 3" mid-pipe that matches up quite nicely. HKS Ti-Carbon single exhaust is nice too.

Any Y-Pipe back exhaust will work.

Dual exhausts will require a reverse y-pipe.

I also was thinking of what to get for my new Turbonetics kit and I think I am going with the Nismo. Looks good sounds good and should bolt right up. I hope...

I have the Fujitsubo on mine now. While I like the quiet sound of it, I might put some resonators on my Pro-1 exhaust and drop it back on to test if I gain much power...

I would imagine any exhaust for the Z would fit except the true dual systems. The Turbonetics bolts up to the stock exhasut. So I imagine they would all work.

Can you post pics of your exhaust? How much was it total with install? Thanks

I have the NISMO. I loved it when the car was N/A but I'm not crazy about it now. Its very quiet and I think it is too restrictive too. It no longer has the nice sound it had when the car was N/A.

I'm glad someone has the Nismo installed with the TN kit. So you think it is restrictive? Now I don't know what to get. Thanks for your input.

Hello,

Any of the JiC single 3" exhausts will work as well. I have the 505S Ti on my Turbonetics 350Z:

Hello,

It is loud, deep, throaty sound. We're going to throw it back on the dyno next week. People have requested video, and I haven't filmed it yet.

BTW, I have 2776 emails in my SENT box. It was cleared out 6 months ago. I send/reply on average over 20 email per business day, and there are 2 other sales person's that have roughly the same as well. Collectively we send over 50 emails per business day. (12,000/year). There are also 294 PM's in my box here, and we have only been a vendor on this board for 2-3 months. I have replied to 99% of them. I am sorry if your email(s) was not replied to.

Hello,

Again, sorry about that. It's Saturday. JiC is not open. I will check with them on Monday. Thanks again.

BTW, you have my attention. What were your 0 for 4 email requests? When were they sent?

You made that on stock exhaust? That sounds great to me.
