To the best of my knowledge Turbonetics doesn't make a full system for the 05-06 motor. Maybe the tuner kit can be installed with a piggyback ecu like Emanage but I'm not sure. As far as installation goes..... I'm in FL as well and it looks like I will be going to CPR in North Carolina for my install. They have lots of experience installing this kit. I havent found anyone in Florida with enough experience with Turbonetics to make me comfortable handing my car over to them.

Why would you do that? The kit is easy to install and requires no tuning with the reflash.

I did mine own install in the parking lot of my appartment building...even after Katrina destroyed ALL of my tools. I just ran to autozone, bought 'em as I needed them.

Dont get me wrong, the installation isn't necessarily easy(gotta reach some tight spaces)...or quick(took me a couple of days...but under the above conditions...and by myself). But if you take your time you'll be ok.

id been thinking about doing this too (https://my350z.com/forum/forced-induction/150444-fi-for-me-or-get-another-car-need-advice.html) could you elaborate on the complexity of this or the experience required? for example, if someone knew how to swap internals on a VQ30... could they do this? (im assuming so, just want to be sure..)

Sure. Things that will speed up your process are:
1)deep sockets (metric) - shallow sockets cant fully tighten the clamps, so you end up using an open end or box wrench

2)extensions - some of the bolts you will need to tighten from the top of the engine, although the bolts are closer to the bottom. You will need a small extention too, as you need just an inch or two longer then a standard socket to clear some hoses.

3)Ratcheting Wrenches - some spots you will not be able to use a socket, and you do NOT want to try to sit there and tighten some of these sections down with a normal open end wrench...it'll take forever.

4)Cordless screwdriver/drill - why tighten by hand if you dont have to.

5)Someone with small hands - It sounds funny, but there were a few times I had to call my wife down to come tighten a fitting because my hands were too big to fit in some of the tight spaces.

6)large open end metric wrenches - you need a fairly large wrench several times during the install(like a 22/24mm) to remove the O2 sensors off of the Cats, and the stock oil pressure sensor

7)be sure to go buy your tubes of sealant in advance, both for you need to remount your oil pan, and also npt sealant for all of the connections.

8)The instructions that come with the kit are very good as far as the installation. However, they do not list disassembly step by step. They assume that you have either dismantled the car before, or you have a shop manual. Its not a big deal, but there are a few times you have to stop and look at what they want to do, so you can figure out exactly what you need to remove, in order to facilitate the install.

9)hex sockets - for some reason, turbonetics decided to use hex screws/bolts in some locations instead of a normal bolt. I did mine with a set of hex keys...but it was uber difficult. If I would have had hex sockets, it would have been much easier.

Remember to take your time and have patience. I found myself frustrated several times during the installation over little things. The big parts of the install(which you would think would be the most difficult) were fairly easy. Its the little things that are going to take up the most of your time. If you have the above tools handy, you should be able to finish ALOT faster than I did, and you shouldnt be nearly as frustrated during the install. Then again, most of my frustration stemmed from having owned the proper tools, and then not having them when I needed them (damn Katrina).

I have some nerve damage in my hands that if it acts up would leave me unable to finish the job.

Sucks to be me.
