Based on the sponsorship stickers, and he stampings of the JWT on the INTAKE pipe, I have concluded that the turbo kit on Verena Mei's '06 Z!

Nice setup, but unfortunately, still not CARB exempt.

are you sure thats an 06?

I see the head lights but I thought they stopped using brembo's for the 2006... It would seem weird to get an 06 then replace the bumper and then use the brakes from the 2003-2005. I would just assume its more likely they put in the 06 headlights in a 2003-2005.

That's what they are under the impression of. Everyone thinks it is so easy to get CARB approval. It isn't at all just ask Jim, Clark, etc. over at JWT.

Booger; LOL nice signature.....Too funny (about the Clintons)

I saw that car at SEMA, but the hood was closed. I didnt know it had a JWT kit, or I would have gotten some pics.

With that intake setup, wouldn't that limit the potential of the kit? It doesn't seem that you could run a larger radiator with that piping running in between the motor and radiator?

The piping doesn't limit the radiator size too much. We have a much larger radiator in a z with this kit, with no problems.

Notice that the MAF is a pull through design instead of a blow through design.....

I think it helps that APS has people on staff that have put turbo kits thru CARB certification previously to know what they need at the onset of testing. Hopefully, all the pre-planning is useful.

MSRP is $6895. Look in the Summer 2005 issue of Sport Z magazine (click for webpage below on Sport Z magazine to back order if you like) . I did an article on 6 turbo kits and one of them was the JWT TT. Dyno's, specs, write up on each is included.

What turbo kits have APS put out that are CARB certified? I thought this was their first attempt at passing CARB for any of their kits? Peter didn't seem to even know the requirements a few months ago. I don't think APS will be passing CARB anytime soon if JWT has been taking this long.
