Does anyone know if a Z can be dyno tuned with the Stillen S/C on it? I have heard that the tunability of the car is not good with the Stillen Kit.......

 

Theres isnt much tunability with this kit. The extra injector is controlled by Stillen Stand Alone ecu. I have tried pretty much everything that can be done with this kit and could only get 350whp on a dynojet. Great/easy bolton kit though.

 

Thx for the reply. That is kinda what I have run into. I am at 342whp and that is about all I think I am gonna get out of it. I may end up selling the Z and getting the GT-R when it comes out.

I am also looking at getting a Stillen Stage III, I think I would be fine with 340 at the wheels, what mods or tuning did you have to do to get it to the 340 or did you get that out of the box?

 

Ive heard that you can get a custom 8.3 or 10 lb. pulley made, then if you upgrade the injectors again, and get a fuel pump and fuel return system... you can effectively up the output.... the software stillen uses is tuneable, you just need to find a shop that can tune it... I cant remember the name of the software their piggyback is tuned with...

if you search you can find the software name and the company that produces the pulleys.

 

talk to vision619 (or something like that). has a uy z. he's done lots to his stillen kit and is supposedly making bigger numbers.

 

yes he is running a methanol/water injection system with custom pulley. He is also having Jim Wolf and Clark tune his car.

What's your engines torque at 2k rpm?

What's the mean average torque? Peak Torque?

What's the mean average horsepower? Peak horsepower = 350.

What mods have you done to your SC?

Can you provide dyno charts with A/F readings?
