Stillen SC - to install or not install myself?
Just thought I would see what others have to say about this install - I'm debating whether or not to perform the install myself. I am not claiming to be a mechanic by any means, but certainly don't object to getting my hands dirty. I did own a Eclipse GST a few years ago and did enjoy modding it from time to time myself. Any input would be appreciated...I've heard mixed opinions, but for the most part people have stated it was a fairly straight forward install and a few have paid, but agreed they wished they had done it themselves after seeing it done.
Thanks to all @ my350z.com for their continued input, Peace!

Did you get the instructions for install from the other guy by fax or do you want me to email them to you in a .pdf file (acrobat file). give me your email and I will email them now.

That's a pretty good deal. I sold my un-polished Stillen SC for $2300.
I had it installed at Stillen but un-installed it here at home.
After taking it out, I realized I should've installed it. Everything is pretty straight forward.
A few things I'd suggest:
1.Solder the 3 or 4 connections
2.Get new bolts to mount the lower plenum to the intake manifold
3.Depending on how old the kit is, you may need to upgrade a few parts(pump, idler pulley, belts).
4.Make sure your pulley is for the same year.

I always buy my parts from Kenny at Stillen. his extension is 185 and I am sure he will sell you all the brackets and bolts seperate if you ask him. Their supervisors' name is Jeff.
