I was wondering how loud the weldon oil pump is that came with your kit?

 

not loud at all why, you cant hear it with the car cranked. arent you using the mocal pump?

you're probably hearing the fuel pump.. did you look where it's coming from?

 

I dont have the APS kit. I have a mocal pump and im looking for something a little smaller to mount in a diff position and the weldon pump is smaller. Anyone have any problems with the pump yet?

the pump is actually a pretty good pump. weldon makes high quality race pumps. my pump works fine. i dont know if the pump rate is the same, especially since you have twins, the 9200 (weldon) comes set for 30 gph, but i think it goes up to 55 gph. one thing i do like about your setup is that aluminum catch can for the oil before it goes to the sump pump. thats an awesome piece that is needed that APS didnt include with the kit. it needs something to catch the "froth" of oil from the turbo.

is the weldon really that much smaller, and how does the mocal mount, ive seen several pics but none of the pump assembly,
