Does the Dynapack dyno show more or less than a Dyno Jet dyno? I always thought that the Dynapack showed less than the Dyno Jet.

Thats incredible power! Can you post a link to the dyno graphs, videos, pics? I always wanted the TNetics kit, and almost have this car paid off (reason I dont have it) but would love to go TNetics next year with a built motor and possibly 500+rwhp, appreciate any links.

Also, I used to have a VR4 and am a member at 3si.org, you guys have that orange stealth right? What are the plans for the ultimate VR4? If you can say

I am sure you have seen Ray's car with 830+AWHP right? Crazy stuff, I miss my VR4, lol....

Dynapack always reads higher, it bolts right to the wheel hub, so it doesnt have to spin the weight of wheels/tires therefore higher numbers over a dynapack.

Stock I dyno'd 239whp on a dynojet A buddy of mine dyno'd 261whp stock on a dynapack...

I've always heard the Dynapack was lower then then Dynojet because it is a load based dyno. I know it is considered one of the most accurate dynos due to its consistency and it being load based.

There will be all of this in the upcoming MOdified Magazine. It is their project car.

I think a BB t60-1 and even a t62 is too small. I am going to be running a T61 on my 3.0 liter max. You'll should be using GT40R's and BBT66 and 67's.

The 60-1 does well under 15 PSI and thats why Turbonetics used it for the stock internal kit. They are going to use a T61 or T66 depending on what kind of power they make on Stage II. The goal is 550 RWHP at ~15 PSI. Most likely going to be a T66 but they are going to start with a T61 first and see what happens. They already tried a 62-1 and didn't think there was enough power gain from it to be used on Stage II.

That seems to be the case for us, along with the article Import Tuner did... Or was it Turbo or Sport Compact car... Damn I can't remember... Anyway like said before... It varies to much on many factors. So what is the result for one does not mean the same for another.

Im sure somebody like Sharif can correct me but I thought the load was adjustable on those dyno's. The operator can adjust load and affect the numbers. Something to do with ramp/load-up time I believe. Basically they can read higher, about the same, or lower than dynojets usually read. But yes, they are better for tuning than dynojets.

I thought you could only do that on the Mustang dynos. The Dynapacks as far as I know can't be adjsuted to fudge numbers like the Mustangs can...but I may be wrong.

Actually what you could do is send your block or buy a used block and send it to Forged Internals and ask them to install the above mentioned engine components. Then drive down to Texas or find a shop near you competent enough to swap blocks and install the above components. Of course in the end it may just be easier for you to make the drive out to NC and have Sharif do the work there.

What MIA posted generally is commonly known for FI folks.

Also agreed, better off driving to Sharif for a install done correctly.

That might be a better Idea. I don't know alot about engines and there aren't that many reputible shops around here. I'll talk to Shariff when I get everything settled and have him do my work if he can.
