Kinda off topic here but I am really curious... what is the appeal of the front bumper beam to those who are very determined to keep it? Is it that you think it is going to save your life in a front end collision, or is it that it will protect the car better in a small collision? I wouldnt keep my car if I wrecked it really bad anyway, so I personally dont worry about it.

However, the greddy IC kit is available without the front mount intercooler... this affords you all the freedom of the greddy kit, and the freedom to just build your own front mount system that fits behind the beam... and the pricing would be about the same.

As for ON-TOPIC... Personally I prefer the greddy, the setup leaves the car easier to service, and its less frustrating to deal with overall. There is complete freedom to do as you wish with the car as you want more power, where APS gives you no freedom and requires much more hassle to install upgrades, such as wastegate actuators. You can make 600+rwhp without even upgrading the wastegate springs in the greddy kit. I also prefer the greddy aluminum piping over the APS stainless pipes.

The APS is a lot harder to install, but they at least have everything wired for you... The greddy kit is much easier to install but leaves room for error in the wiring.

the APS stuff is nice if your gonna just install it and leave it as is. If you want to make big power tho, its wasted money and wasted effort IMHO. Personally, as I am a professional car builder/tuner... I have no use for the APS system, I will use it if thats what a customer is set on, but I would never select it first... however there are other situations with other tuners where it is suitable.
