This works the same for the stock bumper. I have mine in the same spot but on the other side of the car. My power steering cooler is where his oil cooler is. I have no guages to measure oil temp but i know it works. There is a channel to the wheel well if you block off the side next to the intercooler. Air can pass through it to cool the oil cool like where Chebosto has his.

I'm still trying to figure out where I will be able to fit one with my stock bumper. I'm considering mounting them in the same location but making some ducts to route air flow to the side area.

I just wnat to know what type of Front Bumber your running. It looks like a custom CF job, I would like to source a similar one that will have the same aility to force feed the coolers.

there are alot of front bumpers out there with side venting availability in addition to the Front hole for an FMIC... these include, but not limited to:

Vertex full front,
JPaero,
Ings+1 N1 front,
Cwest Full front,
Top Secret non wide body version 1 & 2
ED Drift spec,
Stillen Front version 2
DoLuck, etc..

your best bet is to create air channels that guide to the coolers, reguardless of bumper choice, however remember to have venting on the OTHER side of your cooler as for air that comes in must go out to be really effective, else you just create a swirling mass of air inside your bumper...

i dare say your front bumper shape/size should should determine ultimately your cooler position/size. You could effectively get better cooling from a smaller core, with adequate fans and ducting from your front fascia.

Cheston, what temps are you seeing now - normal driving and track? Thanks.

normal driving/freeway cruise: Water is 180-190F, Oil is 180-200F. (nearly 30-40 degrees cooler than i normally see)

normal driving/city cruise: Oil is around 200-210F, water is the same,

last time @ buttonwillow in dec (it was cold that day, however) i saw
water peak close to 230F, and Oil never above 250F. power steering didnt boil at the track this time... ^_^

this leads me to believe before my hot oil temps were leading to higher water temps due to the stock oil cooler...

the real test will come this summer. i'm also thinking about a new radiator, but my water temps arent that high, so i see no reason to change it.

I'm still NA but am installing an oil cooler as last Dec I hit 258F at the track. My water hit 200F when coming off the track (less airflow). I have a Nismo thermostat and Koyo radiator. I'm installing a 19 row Setrab oil cooler setup from Nick @NTech Engineering. It's a very complete kit. Should do the trick for now.

I have the Nissan Motorsport oil cooler that the SCCA T2 guys run. It's a good kit as well. But I am NA.

I also have a Koyo radiator and the NISMO P/S Cooler. I have never had an issue with temps even then I am absolutely abused my car are Buttonwill and Willow Springs.

I finally went to the track and this cooler is good for a 30 deg F. drop in oil temps while tracking.

Saw this install first hand today, very nice work. Looks like it was meant to be there. Technosquare did it right, did anyone else ever get this done? Technosquare does a lot more than most people know about.

Thats perfect nice work.

You should get them to create a bunch of those air deflectors from the template and sell them on here.

Dude you and technosquare could easily produce all those things you showed as a kit. Fab up a couple more of those air diverters. May be a waste of technosquare's time though?

They had the time to change out a rear pumpkin for me last week, had some hitches during the install that they took care of the right way not the easy way. They do much more than most people realize, and they do it right.
