We need Pictures tho.
Here are pics (above) We also use (and love) the Hoosier 285/30/18 front and 305/30/18 rear combonation (cause they dont make a 315). One of my favorite tires and size combo.

Thanks !

Looks good, I think I'll give them a try as my next set.

I'll be using the Direzionale in front and the Asimmetrico in the rear.

It realy shouldn't give you any noticable understeer, if you have 285/30 fronts with matching treadwear rating.

Looks real good, Maybe I'll try 265FR and 305RR or 275FR next, but I don't know if I can clear those.

That is pretty sweet that a 315 fits. I might try it or a 305 but I dunno... I am afraid of defying recommendations

WA2GOOD I'm looking into doing 285's up front now. Your 8.5" wheel is the standard nismo wheel right? Is that the 25 or 30mm offset one? I'm assuming they just barely fit in there? How much clearance is there? I'm slightly concerned about the tires getting hot and expanding slightly on track days, but maybe since they'd be 30's it'd be pretty minimal

Yes, these 285/30/18"'s are mounted on the standard 18x8.5 Nismo's. No rubbing or clearance problems. The tire will not expand anywhere near enough to create a problem on a track day, or anyday. Make sure your rear tire is always a little bit wider than the front and you should be fine.

thanks WA2GOOD,

those are michelin PS2's or another michelin tire? I only ask because I can't find that michelin makes the PS2 in 285/30/18 size.

I see they make the 285/35/18 though

Is it the Pilot Sport Cup tire?

All i can say is it all depends. Depends on offset, ride height, camber and tire profile. I personally don't see how a 305 will fit on my 19x9.5" rim but Im gonna try it as im trying to get more grip, if it doesn't fit I'll send it back. As for the front i hope a 265 fits.

How do I find out what is the widest tire I can put on my 19" IForged. All I know is that it is a 10" wheel. I have no idea what the offset is. I have 275/35/19 SO3's right now. I need a wider tire.

Any info helps, however my situation is that i have 8.5" fr and 9.5" rear. I bet wheel manufacturers must test their wheels and see what size fits best. Or am i just wishing here.

A great tire for your 19x10"'s or a 19x10.5" are a 305/30/19. They work, fit, look, and feel great.

Like I said,....We run it all the time on our own and our customers cars (lowered) with no rubbing. IMO, The perfect wheel and tire combo for your Nismo LMGT4's (standard off-set) are;
18x8.5" front with a 285/30/18 or a 265 or 275/35/18
18x9.5" rear with a 315/30/18 or a 305/30/18
