450 is safe to run on stock block if your tuining is spot on. But over 450 not sure ?

Even 400whp **** happens depends on health of your motor and the tune, I have limited tuning availability here, I'm tuning my car currently with the help of binder and research.

Assuming a spot-on tune, wear on a stock block increases significantly above 400whp / 370wtq -- under 400whp / 350wtq is near stock wear levels. this I verified with multiple UOA's over the course of the past few years -- my race tune at 10psi + 100 octane at 420whp vs street tune at 380whp pump shows 3-4x bearing wear with zero knock on either. The tolerances just aren't optimal for higher power levels.

Hint: >400whp might not toss a rod, but it will wear the bearings and rings MUCH more quickly every time you hit full boost.

Wow. I'd like to see the mods on the 8. D350 w the TN hitting 440. Thata nice and there is some crazy numbers in here on stock block. I thought I was worried.
