Help!!! cusom 3" exhaust for Greddy TT
Hi everyone i have a question my problem is that i dont want to waist money twice in a exhaust. I dont really like any of the exhaust out in the market look wise and sound wise I have the stock exhaust. My question is would it hurt the engine now or down the line if i get a custom 3" true dual exhaust with HKS stainless TI mufflers im only going to be set at 6 PSI thats why i ask becouse their is going to be alot of outlet for the amount of power would this hurt the engine or not?
Would it make a difference in the power?
Thanks in advance.

Well, the larger exhaust is going to allow your turbos to be much more efficient, and it's possible it could make you boost higher than it's currently tuned for. The A/F ratios could be off, and it could theoretically raise your boost, neither of which you want to happen without addressing timing and fuel ratios. Experts, correct me if I'm wrong, but that's how I understand it.

True Dual 3" on low boost still makes a difference if you ask me. I had the same question, but went with it anyway and running about 7.5psi I made 424rwhp and 392rwtq. I have seen other guys running 2.5" true dual at 8psi and just being right above the 400rwhp mark, but not quite 425rwhp mark.
(I'm sure there are exceptions to this, but generally this is what I have seen)
