Default Need advice!!!!

My car is going to hopefully be done this friday (DECEMBER 16, 05) I already paid a tuning fee for my Greddy kit. But i was thinking on getting my 3 inch exhaust and then tuning it since i heard that going from a stock or a 2.5 to a 3 inch the A/F ratio might change due to outlet. Should i tune it now at 6 pounds or can i ride the Greddy TT on out of the box tune for a week or two and then tune it when i get the 3 inch. NEED ADVICE ASAP! Thanks

get the 3in now or get it tuned, no point in risking it for a week or two, to save a few hundo could possible cost you a few grand

If you don't get in tuned right away, try not to go in boost.

But I would get it tuned right away.

Should i get the custom test pipes resonated or non resonated. Is the resonator really going to make a difference or not.

I ran my car with the stock greddy tune for about 6 months. Never had any problems, except running too rich. Even took it into boost a lot. Did a compression test, and its all good *knock on wood*.

It will quiet down the car, thats about it. I've heard some TT Z's with custom 3" dual exhausts w/ resonated test pipes, and they were pretty loud. So I can't imagine how loud it would be without them. Its all up to your taste if you like it loud or not.

Running Greddy TT without tune is asking for trouble.

the fuel map is dead rich, if you run it in STOCK TRIM. The tune is fine, if you put test pipes ( i would non resonated )and a full exhaust, then you might wanna tune it. Install a wideband and see what your AF at WOT is.

right now i have the stock exhaust system but with the megan racing test pipes what i want to do is get my custom exhaust at japtrix were the car is and i already have a tuning fee paid that i dont want to throw away and right after they but the custom exhaust ill get it tune right their. And about the resonators i just want it to be quiet at cruising then when i punch it the true sound comes out as loud as possible. What do you guys think

With a TT kit, it will be quiet either way.
