Holy crap guys this kit is amazing!!!! I finished the install around 3AM and I decided to go for a quick drive around the block (no hood or bumper all naked) this thing is scary as F**k. I also put my RSR exhaust on and let me tell you the car is freaken loud!!

I have one question I put on my EGT gauge and I am still waiting on my BOOST and A/F is it safe for me to drive it around a bit with only my EGT?

I would definately recommend waiting on that boost gauge and AF gauge, prior to romping on the engine too much. I know its hard to restrain yourself. But better safe than sorry. You want to insure you are not overboosting, and that your AF ratio is nice and safe....as anything can happen.

 

Thanks guys the only problem I had was when I first turned on the car it would die right away. I heard a hissing noise from the plenum area so I took it apart put it back on and it was perfect.

 

if you want your not far stop by my place we will throw a DEFI gauge on it temporarly and see what your boost is at

 

^^I appreciate that but I think I will just wait until tommorrow when I get it. I dont want to have to run all the wires and tubes just to remove them tommorrow. I really appreciate it tho.

Nissansource what did you boost at when you first got your kit done?

 

bah its a vacume line no need to hook up anything else and run lines outside. also you going to that chino hills meet i guess i might go since it will be my first time tonite meeting everyone
