If I were to buy a turbo kit used from a blown motor is there anything I would need to watch out for???

 

I'd have the turbos checked out to make sure no metal from the motor chewed up the turbine blades. That, and make sure you get all the little stuff like the bolts, nuts, hose clamps, that came with the kit, off the blown motor.

 

Thanks Failsafe. I think I probaly spend a few extra bucks for piece of mind.

 

if your talking about the TN kit that is up for sale inn your area get it you will be fine just dont run the reflash if you have a aftermarket parts like exhaust and otherthings like that if you do gett a real tune.

 

What about the turbine and seals??? would anyone recommend this or would you spend an extra $400 to get a new kit?

 

If your only saving $400 then just get a new kit....if your saving a grand then consider it..
