It's a personal preference - I think they are tacky and they draw too much attention when on the road. I like to keep my car as stock looking as possible to minimize attention.

I prefer things a little more "integrated" and this is what I finally came up with:

Carputers are great if you don't mind waiting for them to boot up and initialize everytime you start the car... The hard drives they use are also more prone to crashing with the extreme cabin temp variations, humidity, and road vibration.

My carputer boots up faster then my car gets to temp, so it's not much of an issue - it takes 60 seconds tops, and thats with a full XP load.

I haven't had any problems at all with the hard drive, I just used a lap top hard drive that is fan cooled.

Camp 2 is bad ***.

Heres mine, Prosport gauges with an AEM UEGO, and a rebco low oil pressure warning light.

lil off topic, but Coach, what were your final #'s with the rebuild? drag slips? I was pretty sure you were going big.

I couldn't get past 500whp because of the OEM 5AT. Won't be at the track until Nov-Dec...Still plan on 700whp, but I take forever to make decisions on the tranny I will be using and I know that makes JT ...
