Do you have an estimate of when this could be done cause I am so inpatient and might jus go with a different wastegate

Hopefully this week. They should have the Topspeed exhaust on a car right now. They have tried the Nismo, Tanabe, Apexi, stock, and NO exhaust and haven't been able to make the car overboost. Once that Topspeed is on the car and the dyno it should make it overboost and they can fix it.

My car showed slightly over 10psi on a Mustang dyno. On the street I have seen 9.9psi...pretty accurate if you ask me. *this was when it was warmer.
CPR uses a dynapack which is a load based dyno if I understand things correctly.

Nope, it's been tried. It's not an issue of spring tension. It's a matter of even when the gate is all the way open, not enough of the exhaust gas is passing through it to hold boost down. Reggie will probably call you back, and you can be assured that Tnetics is very aware of your issue (not YOURS specifically, but the issue you're having). It's good that now they know another user of the product is having the issue though.

+1 on what Kelly said. How far are you from TN?
I'm not sure if you know but they (TN) have had a hard time reproducing the issue so if someone with the issue could bring their car to TN it might help get this resolved for all of us once and for all.

You want something big but you will have to have some fabrication done to move the WG to a different location as JET did. Since there is limited room you will most likely have to vent to atmosphere too which is really loud (like having a straight pipe exhaust). You can't just pop a new WG on...not that simple.

They might but then again now that they have a Topspeed exhaust to put on a car they should get the same thing you do. As for a wastegate the Newgen would also work (50mm gate) and it will fit...

There is no proof at this point that the Evolution doesn't flow enough air by itself and that this is a matter of location. I *think* Turbonetics is going to test the Evolution at a different location on the feed-pipe to see if a better entry angle will provide the needed flow parameters.

They are indeed. They are going to try moving the Evolution to a different spot, Using a bigger gate in the current location, and using a different gate in a different location. Whichever one fixes it they will make a new dump tube for the wastegate so its not venting to atmosphere..

Isnt the NEWGEN a TN wastegate? Will this wastegate fix the problem as it did on JETS.

If it does why doesnt TN just replace the Evolution with the NEWGEN

Dude read my post above. Jet used a bigger wastegate AND moved it. So which fixed it? Thats what Turbonetics needs to determine. I don't think Reggie is in the office today. Jhame the designer is working on this in the bay

Do you have a video of this so we can hear how loud it is.
