We decided to just break it down and almost start from scratch, it will not take about thirty min. to put everything back but just the fact the, i could not get the down pipe connected just pissed me off.
I guess these are the breaks, but it is all good.

No sh*t, we had to use a little bit elbow grease but i tis tight but it does work. I see why people charge so much for a turbo install now. I hope the Z kit is not as hard as G because man it is tough. But i really enjoy it.

hopefully youre gonna turn the intercooler around or take off the ugly fan shroud.

Why would you do that with a stock bumber assuming he has one? Theres not enough airflow with the stock bumper thats why it comes with fans. If he has an aftermarket bumper and I missed that then yes by all means flip it and remove the fans. But with the stock bumper it wouldn't be the smartest thing to do...

Personally I think the Z kit is easier since theres a little more room to work with in front of the turbo...

running stock boost on these kits, less than 10psi, i dont think the stock bumper makes that much of a difference. there is sufficient airflow to the ic, i dont think an aftermarket bumper affects performance, or the fans. and by the way, that fan assembly is fugly. driving down the road, its fine, now on a dyno there isnt any airflow, but using the fans helps.

Um news flash bro but on a G you can't even see the fan shrould and trust me it made a difference on Brad's car...It DEFINITELY helps prevent heat soak of the intercooler at the track or on the dyno. Since the fans are ALWAYS on its constant blowing air across the intercooler even if the car is not moving. This is especially good when you track the car and are coming into the pit for a minute or two...You may not think that its doing much but Turbonetics did test with and without fans behind a stock bumper after numerous dyno passes and laps at the track and found much lower inlet air temps with the fans. I don't have the exact temps but I was there when they did the testing at Streets of Willow... If it didn't help at all do you honestly think Turbonetics would even include them? They could have just released it without them and just changed the piping for the G but they actually found them to be beneficial and thought that customers might too...

MIA, i had the vortech for a year, with the same IC you guys have, i dynod it many, many times, and tracked it. i had the top secret bumper for a while, then switched back to stock because i was destroying the TS one, it made no difference, you know what setup i have now, and i have the stock bumper, it doesnt make that much difference. yeah, like i said, on the dyno, it makes a difference, but at the dyno you can use fans. even with the stock bumper, on a 95 degree plus day, with my stock bumper, i can drive my car 200 miles, and lick my intake pipe, not that i do, but i could if i wanted to. another thing, during pit times, you could have no bumper at all, and you would still have heat soak. once you get back on the track youre fine. im not saying they dont help, but for the extra change, and looks, they arent worth it, if i had a G with the TN kit, i wouldnt rock it.

Well to each their own. It's certainly not hurting performance. Even if the gains are minimal its better then nothing. Besides you can't see it with the stock bumper and like I said Turbonetics logged better temps with it. I'll see if I can get exact temp differences from them tomorrow..

ah temps smemps, i dont doubt they helped lower the temps, i know TN did their homework. but it just seems pointless to me.

in the pics i saw, it looked like they were pretty visible, maybe im wrong.

With the sock bumper on they are not at all visible..I'll see if I can get some more pics of it with the bumper on the car. Or gdrivernz can post some when he is done..I do have a couple pics of it on Brad's car from R&D here: http://members.***.net/turbonetics350z/gkit.htm

Along the fuel rails. I believe one or more injectors is not seated correctly or something to that affect. But I have a AAM return fuel system and it is only reading 5lbs when it finally crunk one time it had sort of a rough idle. So I have seen the fuel run down the backside of the block from where the injectors are. I will go through and check all of the injectors and all the nuts and bolts again to make sure. So i will try to take care of the leak some time Wendsday. But i do have some pics. They look amazing. Will post once i get the car up and running.
