Default Help w/ WI Install on Intercooled TT

Ok, I purchased my dual stage WI kit yesturday. In a few weeks I will begin the install.

One question: where should I install the injectors (2)?

The manufacture suggests before the intercooler to maximize the cooling effect and that the water should be vaporized before the MAF.

Yet, others state that you want the water right after the MAF?

Pictures of your install would be great!

Thanks

most the ones i have seen have the injection after the i/c. this is mainly to prevent puddling, as the vapor would have to travel thru the i/c and up a pipe for several feet.

i have seen some that they put in the i/c pipe a few inches before the throttle body. make sure that the injectors are aimed to spray up the pipe and not directly into it. if they point straight in it is likely to puddle on the bottom of the pipe.

You where right about the nozzle placement and now I think about it more it makes sense.

If I inject water before the intercooler, the heat taken away by evaporation will lower the Temperature of the air going in to the i.c. That will decrease the effecience of the ic since it is bases on tempeature differential.
Yet, if I let the i.c. do it's job, than inject the water the heat taken away by evaporation will still be there, yet my overall air temp will be less thus given the biggest density increase.

Thanks for your help.
